I'm Claire.... an interiors obsessed, creative problem solver on a mission to improve your home and happiness.

I create simple interiors that work effectively for the people that live in them. Successful homes combine function AND beauty so I'll be finding creative solutions to help improve your way of living.

My interior design service is flexible and allows you to choose how much input you need from me - based on your budget, time and creativity. My aim is to inspire and motivate you to envisage a home to be proud of and give you the information and advice you need to make it happen.

Our Interior Design services are flexible and can be tailored to fit your needs and budget. From a simple in home consultation to a full home renovation project, we're here to support your journey to improve your home. Maybe you already have some ideas but are feeling overwhelmed by decisions or just you don't have the time to do it alone. Maybe you're struggling to find a compromise with your other half or you just don't feel confident that you'll get it right. Getting expert advice can save time, money and stress!

Interior Design Process

Getting To Know You

We start with a call or a brief questionnaire to outline your general needs and desires for the space. If we're not visiting in person we will need photos and measurements from you in advance. Your input is invaluable and will set us on the right track.

Inspiration Gathering

Once we've agreed on the project brief we'll start on the inspiration. We use Pinterest as a visual tool so we can work together to hone in on your style and preferences. The process is collaborative and informal and should leave you inspired.

Design Time

We'll work on your Concept Design, including a mood board, colour scheme and floorplan, which we'll discuss and tweak as necessary before moving on to the details. By getting the basis of the design right at this stage we keep time and costs to a minimum.

Final Details

Finally we layer in specifics including a visual of the space, paint & fabric suggestions and a clickable shopping list. If you have any questions along the way we'll always be on hand to assist you. And if need additional help with purchasing or installation just let us know!

The secret to achieving a sophisticated hotel vibe lies in the simplicity and the detail. This Master Suite had a major overhaul including moving doors and entryways to accommodate better access and improve storage. Everything has a purpose and everything has a place. The colour palette flows between the bedroom and en-suite creating a beautifully cohesive space. But you don’t need to start from scratch to get the hotel look. Here are some top tips for easy changes you can make at home - Use the same handles and keep all the metalwork to one finish to tie the look together and eliminate distractions. Paint the walls as dark as you dare, you’re mostly here at night after all! This gives a calm and cosy feel and really ramps up the sophistication levels. Spend money on the lighting. Go big and bold to really elevate the space with a sense of drama. Use beautiful textiles with texture or pattern and layer up the bed for a luxury feel. Always invest in quality blackout curtains that make a statement. Hide all your bits and bobs away so you don’t see the day to day ephemera. Garden Living is the dream for August....🤔 The only month of the year that I really put ALL the cushions out, so fingers crossed 🤞🏻 The goal is to make it as comfy as possible so you can spend all day out there (weather permitting of course! ⛅️🌦️☔️) Here are some top tips for bringing the inside out: ☀ Garden furniture is a real investment but chosen wisely will last a lifetime. Natural Light - Exposure to natural light can enhance mood and boost vitamin D levels, which is linked to better mental wellbeing. 3. Here’s an easy Easter breakfast table for you to try, even if you think you don’t have time! I always love an excuse to make breakfast an occasion. The trick is to keep it simple but layer up some basic elements. Here’s how…. 🌼 Find your best tablecloth or even a bed sheet. Having a tablecloth on really helps make it feel different and therefore special. 🌼 I couldn’t resist these pretty plates but any plate will do! Layer on a rattan placemat for texture. 🌼 Roll a napkin and bend in half to wrap round an egg. Tie in place with anything you have - ribbon or string or elastic band. 🌼 Grab a couple of bunches of flowers from your local shop. Even plain old daffs will look fab in a simple vase. 🌼 It’s really all about the food so load up on festive treats and some fresh fruit too of course! The day was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012 and aims to promote the idea that the pursuit of happiness is a fundamental human goal. Each year, a theme is chosen to highlight different aspects of happiness and well-being. The theme for the International Day of Happiness in 2023 is "Be Mindful Be Grateful Be Kind". This theme emphasizes the importance of mindfulness, gratitude, and kindness in promoting happiness and well-being. Mindfulness involves being present and fully engaged in the moment, while gratitude involves recognizing and appreciating the good things in life. Kindness involves treating others with compassion and empathy, and contributing to the well-being of others. By promoting these values, the International Day of Happiness aims to raise awareness about the importance of happiness and well-being, and to encourage people around the world to take action to promote these values in their own lives and communities. However many people are now choosing to create smaller, more divided spaces in their homes to feel more cosy and intimate. Sometimes open plan living can feel cold and lacking in privacy.
